Hi there i currently have 2 buns a female and a male and they are not bonded. My female rabbit is perfectly healthy and my male rabbit is disabled. My female rabbit goes to the vet in a week to get her yearly check up. I was wondering if i should take my disabled male to get a check to? The last time he had a check up was in january of this year when I took him to get a 2nd opinion. Buns that are disabled should they see a vet more than once a year? thanks

Hi Amy, welcome! What is your bunny’s disability and what is the cause of it? That will help answer your question a bit better.

Well 2 vets says he has cancerous tumour on his spine. He falls over when he walks. He is on pain medication twice a day.

Oh bless his heart! I think a physical exam twice a year for his condition wouldn’t hurt and might be helpful as the vet can monitor his progress and weight and just give him a good once over physically.
