I changed from Carefresh to a different type of bedding today, and I put my bunny in her cage with the new bedding, and she’s sitting there taking fast, short little breaths and shaking a little bit. Why is she doing this, is she scared of the new bedding or something?? :/

I’m not sure. It’s not scented or anything is it? Is it still a recycled paper litter?

I doubt she is scared of a new bedding. How is she now?

Strange…how is she now? Is it bedding or just in the litter box? How does she behave normally?

She’s fine now. I’m not really sure why she was doing this, but she’s much better now.

Good to hear. That is strange so I would keep an eye-as I’m sure you are

I wouldn’t worry too much about it!

Bunnies have really excellent hearing, so it’s possible that it was a coincidence that she heard something outside, like a dog or large bird, that frightened her. The shaking and breathing usually means alertness or fear. Otherwise, be sure you didn’t buy a scented litter.
