Hello! I’m currently feeding my bunnies (4 month old) Alfalfa Hay. I would like to start incorporating another kind.  What would you recommend for bunnies that age? Timothy, Oat, Orchard, Botanical??? So many to chose from!!

        Thanks!

I would say start off with Timothy as it’s the most common and easiest to get. If they don’t dont like it; try orchard. If they don’t like that; try oat, etc etc.

I started with Timothy, but am allergic so I’m trying to switch to Orchard Grass.

He eats both now, doesn’t seem to have a preference

I have a picky bunny that will only eat certain hay

Hopefully my buns will be willing to try different ones!

My buns like most hays, although Monkey hated alfalfa when she was a baby. Wouldn’t touch it.

Mines seem to like alfalfa, although they don’t like the real hard stems that come with it. I usually end up throwing those away!
