Apparently, Leopold likes butts. Wooly was lying all sprawled out on the floor earlier. Leopold casually hopped over, sniffed around Wooly, and then made his way over to Wooly’s backside. Next thing I knew, Leopold had his head buried between Wooly’s legs like he was digging for gold or something. I’m assuming this is normal, but it’s kind of weird. Wooly does tend to get some mats around his butt that I’m always picking at. Does Leopold know this and that’s why he’s so vigorously grooming him there? Or does he just like bunny butt?

Remy often tries to burrow under Momo’s butt… but she get irritated and growls at him lol

This is totally disgusting, but it’s possible they smell cecals and want to eat them ><

I’m gonna go throw up now.

Jack will try to do this to Vivian, but she doesn’t tolerate it for long. If this is a new behavior, then just keep an eye on Wooly. My vet told me that one rabbit can react to another rabbit with a UTI. Mounting or special interest in the bunny’s buns can surface.

Most likely though….it’s just weird…because bunnies are weird.

Bunnies are weird… and gross sometimes. It’s good thing they’re darn cute!

I don’t know if this is new behavior or if this was just the first time I observed it. They are pretty much bonded, but I suppose they could still be working out what they will tolerate from one another. Wooly didn’t seem to mind all that much. He was just sitting there.
