So I'm just making the rounds before heading to school and I came across Markus' new avatar.
It is not an exaggeration to say I literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD. I LOVE IT!!!
If you haven't seen it... here it is.

Too bad that bun isn't a dutch. That might be a more accurate representation!

This topic made made me think of Bunny Suicides. My coworker got me one as a gift. I laughed so much at each picture. I know that we love our bunnies but it is some funny stuff. Here's a link to some pictures. HILARIOUS!! Buns would do some of that stuff to get away from us. http://www.jimmyr.com/blog/Bunny_Su...6_2007.php |

Dig.Me, that cartoon reminded me of when a friend teased me for saying my bunnies are like ninjas - but they are! They move silently and sneak up on you when you're not paying attention. I completely agree that they should be special ops (except maybe Otto, because he's a huge chicken) |

My rabbit, Maryann, is a dutch rabbit. She is too intelligent for her own good. Doing things such as using her food bowl as a wedge in order to separate the NIC cubes. I have often said that I don't let her be a free range rabbit as I am quite afraid for my life or what she may do if she had the freedom. I've taken a video of her wearing a gun and holster and she is just a very 'stubborn' rabbit. I have often felt that she would make a great special ops type of rabbit with sniper abilities (I don't see her as a hand to hand combatant as that means she'd have to clean the blood off of herself) and have posted a few different pics that reminded me of her and her nefarious doings.
So to have a night vision goggled rabbit that looks like her just fits it all together.

Mark needs to link that video here of Maryanne and Dono where he was trying to keep them in a box together and Maryanne was whipping around and attacking like a snake! It was frightening! ;-) |

Here's a vid advert I made for Save A Bunny that features some of the more violent time of that bonding time. If you double click, you can go to my youtube page and see more of maryann terrorizing Dono...
BTW, these bonding tactics were suggested by the house rabbit society, so don't blame me for them.

You were so brave having your hands/arms exposed with her whipping around like that. She is quite the feisty bunny. |

Maryann has never bit me - no matter how miffed or whatever she has been. Even by accident, I don't think she knows to use them against people. She does, however, nip my socked feet - I don't think she knows they're attached to me... |

I love Maryann, even though that picture of you holding her up by your throat always makes me nervous! |

Thanks Mark for redirecting me to this thread. I missed it somehow. I love the larger cartoon of your avatar with Dono in the background and his comment. The video brings me back to the saga of your bonding them. That's a great short. |

Mark,
I hadn't visited the Saveabunny site in awhile, their new website is beautiful.
The video they had of Lavendar, the "vicious" rabbit used to make me cry everytime I watched it. She looks so much like my Hershey and had the same 'look you in the eye' personality. I kept checking hoping she would be adopted (if it wasn't such a long haul from central Texas to Ca I'd come after her) and I saw today where she got her forever home last December. Hooray for the adopter that gave that wonderful bunny a home!!
