I lost my honey-bunny Layla a few weeks ago. Mimzmum will remember her for being an exact match for her Mimz. We'd had her for almost three years and she bought light into our lives.
She was my first shelter bun and she was amazing.
We miss her so much! Poor Charlie is lost without his girl.

Oh no! ;_; *tears* I'm so sorry to see this! I do remember Layla, she was a beautiful bunny full of personality and I always thought she and Mimz would look like a matched set together. Salt and pepper shakers.
I'm just stunned by this...so I'm babbling, but...I don't know what to say except I'm so very sorry. 
I will light a candle for Layla, although it was a few weeks ago, so that she knows we are thinking of her there across the Rainbow Bridge.
Hugs to you and sweet Charlie! We'll all keep you in our prayers!

Thank you all so much. I also lit a candle for her when she passed away, and seeing them really does help. It must stem from my quasi-catholic upbringing.
I know that I sound crazy, but I think I see her or hear her every now and again in our hallway. She would do bunny500s up and down, and binky whenever we laughed at her.
Thank you all again for the candles and wishes. I've read them to Charlie and he licked me on my hand...not sure what this means but I think it's a good sign! |

I'm so sorry she has passed away. I can't imagine the love you had with her knowing her 3 years. I've only had Gabby less than 3 weeks and am completely in love. *hugs* |

I don't think it's crazy at all, Cassi. I have often thought I heard or saw (out of the corner of my eye) a beloved pet who had passed away. I dream of them still, and I swear after our German shepherd died suddenly I could still sense her walking behind me as I went to feed my other dogs and (as she had a habit of this) would think I could feel her prodding me in the fanny with her nose. >.< When those feelings waned was when I really began to miss her. I hope that you always have a sense of Layla being beside you. Hugs to you and Charlie! ((((((hugs)))))))))) |
