        I  have a rabbit that is a few months old and last night i went to say hello to him and he was laying down. so i tried to hel him stand and he cant stand. well he can stand but as soon as he trys to move or clean himself he falls over and cant get back up on his own. so i found a web site thast said to try and give him all natural yougert and some vitimen c so thats what i have been doing but it dosnt seam to be working. dose nyone have any ideas on this???,please help

          He needs to see a vet. That’s the only thing you can do – why haven’t you taken him to a vet?

            Yes, he does need to be seen by a vet as soon as possible. Loss of balance can be a neurological problem, an ear problem, or due to a parasite.

              Do not attempt to give him any of those remedies!
              Please take him to the vet! He needs to be seen.

                Yikes–that is very scary. It could be a number of things, including E. cuniculi, a protazoa that can cause paralysis if it infects the brain. It’s treatable with medicine, but most definitely take your bunny to the vet ASAP. If your vet isn’t open on the weekends, I’d take him to an emergency vet.

                    I hope you were able to get him to an emergency vet because it is an emergency.
                    Please let us know how he is doing and what the vet said is happening.
