I switched her pellets to Oxbow which she grudgingly eats.  I’m pretty sure she just picks out the few “old” pellets that are mixed in and leaves the oxbow.  So she’s been eating lots of hay and lettuce.  I weighed her just now and if it’s correct, she weighs 6 lbs!!!   I weighed her twice.  First time said 7.5 lbs and there’s no way she’s gained weight.  So i readjusted the towel and weighed her again.  She has lost weight just not sure if she’s really down to 6 lbs.  Her dewlap has shrunk a bit and she’s not so…solid when I manage to pick her up.  I feel like I picking up air.  LOL   Yay! Yay! Yay!!!

Woot! And she’s surviving just fine on hay and veg. : ) Wish I could go pellet free but I’m too soft. I noticed when Rumball lost some weight it wasn’t much in ounces but it changed his body tone. I just noticed more form, the line of his hips etc.
I usually weigh the rabbits by weighing myself holding them, then just myself, then deduct the difference.

Well that would be the smart thing to do. But I really don’t know want to know how much I weigh. lol

Yes, it would inspire me. lol I know I know.

Also, I think Lolli thinks I’m starving her. But she is getting the same amount of food as always. She’s just refusing to eat her pellets. Oh well.

Yep! Goofy girl. But it’s good for her though – she’s eating a lot more hay which is what she needs to do anyways. It’s funny cause I don’t feel about her not eating her pellets vs the guilt I would get for letting her bowl go empty. lol

So…..if you need to slim down your bunny, just switch to a healthy brand of pellets that they won’t eat. LOL
