the other day i gave my bunny some swiss chard for the first time and later when i went back to his cage, there was a small pool of red watery liquid in the cage…i figured it must have vomitted  the swiss chard since it was reddish color….anybody heard of swiss chard making bunnies vomit, i thought they could have it……(bunny is fine now, and hasnt had a problem since then, but i wont feed it chard again)

Rabbits can’t vomit. So it most likely that was pee. Certain veggies can make pee more reddish so most likely that is all that happened.

Ditto BB. Rabbits can’t vomit so it is most likely pee. Different colored pee is normal in rabbits depending on what they eat.

I buy swiss chard for my bunnies occasionally- and they really like it.  I have not noticed if it changes their urine color since they are pretty good about using the litterboxes.
