Lolli’s on her diet and is currently out of pellets.   She has plenty of hay and hay cubes (not the ones making her fat).  I look over and she’s chowing down on the toliet paper roll I gave her to play with.    This is the single ply generic paper you find at resturants, public places, etc.  So it’s really thin and there’s not much left.  Should I be concerned with her eating it?  Like if I wake up in the morning and find a lot of it gone?  lol

I think I’m going to take it away.  I’m just paranoid because of Eddie passing away of a massive blockage.  She doesn’t eat things like the carpet like she did, but until I hear otherwise, she’s not getting her toliet paper.

In other good news, for some reason only she knows, she has been sleeping on a sheet and hasn’t peed on it.  Aside from the fleece blanket, I have never been able to give her any type of fabric cause she just pees on it.  So far so good.  Now watch me wake up tomorrow to her peeing on the sheet at some point during the night.

It’s fine, as long as she eats her hay and regular food. It’s just fibre.

I’m assuming here that you mean she ate toilet paper not the cardboard roll. I would guess (but others may correct me) that eating a bunch of toilet paper might not be all that bad because it’s specifically designed to break down when wet (so it doesn’t clog your pipes) and inside a bunny tummy isn’t exactly a dry place to be. But if she’s on a diet, it might not be a bad idea to limit the items that she might turn to eating out of hunger for a little while, just because she might start eating a lot of random stuff instead of her hay.

Ok. LOL I did end up giving her a few more pellets last night. She kept coming up and begging for either pellets/treats. She has plenty of hay but of course she eats the kleenex box acting as a hay rack instead. lol It was just a little head bang on wall moment when I held off the pellets/treats and then find her chowing down on the toliet paper. LOL

Sometimes I think that 90% of Tank’s weight is comprised of toilet paper rolls… x.o and often times there’s a little bit left on them.

You have to stop giving in to her begging. Otherwise she’ll never stop

I know MB. Her treats are on the coffee table. So everytime I moved for the coffee table, she raced over to beg. Then she had to sit by her empty bowl. So I caved and gave her a few pellets. lol

My two eat ridiculous amounts of paper sometimes. As long as she’s still eating her other food, like MB said, it’s not a problem.
