So for the past few weeks, when I go to feed Lucy, she acts like she hasn’t gotten fed in days!  She always has hay, non stop at this point (I have been known to slack), she gets her greens in the morning and pellets around dinner time.  My only conclusion is she REALLY likes the pellets.  Anyone else’s bunny act like they never get fed?  I’m thinking maybe splitting the portions and combining, like give her half the”salad” and half the pellets in the am and pm.  Meh, maybe she’s just a greedy little bunny

I give all pellets in the AM with a serving of greens too, then just more greens in the PM. Sometimes Sammy has finished her pellets, sometimes she leaves some for later, but I don’t add to her daily quantity and let her decide. Fresh greens are better if they don’t sit around, so a twice a day feeding makes it moist and fresh for her. Bunnies will not finish at once, they graze.

The unlimited hay, ie. a lot in the hay bin any time you think to refill it, will keep her from actually getting to hungry.

I give a serving pellets and veggies at each feeding – one around 7am and one around 10pm. Hannah always acts like she hasn’t eaten in days when I feed them. Most bunnies are just greedy!

I have a similar regime – feed unlimited hay, greens in the am and pellets in the pm. Riley ALWAYS acts like I have been starving him. Which is why, when I lived at home, my mom would feed him 2-3x a day, cause she thought I wasn’t feeding him enough

                Wow I’m opposite lol

I feed pellets in the morning (I am welcomed with a thump or a grunt), give more hay, and at night, I give greens and more hay. Always hay everywhere, literally.

My bunny does inhale her pellets lol

I’m a pellet AM and veggie PM too, Brittany! It’s quicker and easier to do pellets, so the morning it is.

My buns go mental when they see me in the morning. Seriously – you’d think they hadn’t eaten in weeks.
