My bunny has a patch of fur missing on his back end, right above and to the left of his tail.  I think he has been chewing it.  It is smooth with a trace of blood around the edges.  Any ideas what could be causing this?

I think it’s a job for the vet. Speculation on our part won’t effect a cure. where there’s blood, there’s a problem that needs treatment.

Fur mites can caue fur loss and bald patches, so your vet should check for fur mites also.
