I’ve been curious about what the most popular treats are for bunnies. Most of them seem to like sweet treats, but different bunnies seem to like different things.

Mr. Bunny loves just about anything sweet. His favorites are probably pineapple and dried papaya. Ms. Rabbit likes raisins and wheat pasta. Both bunnies also like Kaytee alfalfa slims.

I feed dried papaya almost exclusively. They like it, and I found a sugar-free kind (it’s almost out though 🙁 ) so that’s what they get. They love craisins, but I try not to feed them because of the added sugar.

Neither is really interested in fresh fruit at all. Hannah likes banana now (after offering it many times) but neither have touched any other fruit I’ve given them.

Trader Joe’s freeze-dried mango. It comes in slices so I’ll break it into smaller pieces.

Dutchess loves fruits, but I suppose I’ll have to say bananas are her favorite. She sees me holding one and scampers over with ears up and tongue licking.

I have put strawberry – their current favourites are urban fruit dried strawberry.

They used to get yoghurt drops before I knew better (one or two a day). At the risk of being shot down in flames I will confess I still have a packet exclusively for vet visit days when they get half of one each.

Geez, that would depend on the rabbit ! Scooter loves the dried papaya and carrots. Casey loves what I would call garbage – if he had a choice between a carrot and bunny cookies, he would pick the cookies. Bunny loved blueberries (blueberries are also a good vehicle for any medication in pill form) Rexy loved banana and apple. My bunny Blackie loved anything that didn’t get out of his way fast enough !! I have 2 bunnies staying with me right now (to be bonded) Sadie and Charlie, and they love greens in any form and apple. Funny llittle ducks are rabbits !

I want to change my vote! I gave Merry dried apple slices for the first time yesterday and it sent her off on a binky run!
