It depends on the shedding, rabbits go through many types of shedding. There is molting, when they really shed heavily and lose most of their fur to new fur. There is heavy shedding they go through such as getting winter fur in and getting it out when seasons change, and there is normal fur shedding like when people lose some pieces of hair naturally. If you give your bunny a good brushing daily during heavier shedding it will help minimize it getting on your clothes. Bunny breeds do matter, the longer the hair the more the shed is noticed. I have bunny hair on me every day from Dutchess, and she’s not shedding necessarily, it’s just normal hair behavior.

I’m glad I’m not the only one The heavy shedding has been going on here for a week or two already. And because it’s so dry, you can even see it floating in the air after she’s brushed.
