I was picking up atfer Bingley this morning after his run and to my disgust, a pellet, just one, was covered in light brown gel. I haven’t seen this before with him. And he had all of his normal things last night: hay, water, veggies, and the leftover pellets rfom the afternoon. AND I super cleaned his cage because we’re leaving for Austin in a few hours for my winter break. I packed everything except his basics: litter box, stuff listed above and his carrier, which was his hiding place.

        Any ideas what it is?

If it was just one I’d say it is fine. I have seen those in my rabbit pen as well on rare occasions. It would be a vet issue if they were regularly turning up.

Hmm…since we’ve got home, his poops have been smaller. Is that normal with travel?
