        So it is suposed to snow here tonight and i was wondering if it would be ok for bunny to be in snow for just like a few minutes.

            I let my buns play in the snow! as long as you watch her the whole time and that it is above 45 F.

                mine dig tunnles that i put blankets in and they stay out for about an hour ( but they were aloud to come in whenever they chose to.)

                  I am looking forward to letting Oliver play in the snow! I haven’t been able to use our x-pen outside since we got it ….the apartment owner fertilizes the lawn. I had never thought about using it in the snow until now!!

                      Haha! They really do like it. Guess these Northerner bunnies are used to the cooler temps. And here’s me worrying about mine when temps drop below 55F. lol

                      Jessi, some people have bought snow indoors and put it in their bathtub for there rabbits. Might be a more comfortable option for you. Brrrr!

                        oh dear someone dug an igloo!!

                        washington has some snow. i was thinking of making a small snowman for chacha and see what she would do.. but the snow at my place is powder.. falls apart fast.

                          I’m glad you mention this, Jersey. It is not at all good for rabbits to expperience sudden changes in temperatures. It stresses their immune system and can lead to an outbreak of an underlying illness. General fitness and body condition are factors to consider as well when exposing rabbits to the outdoors. Indoor rabbits do not develop a true winter coat. Putting a rabbit outside into the cold requires great caution for these reasons. It should never be done for prolonged periods of time.
