The construction continues on our new kennels, and they are BEAUTIFUL!

There's simply TONS of work that needs to be done to get us "open" and up and running, but we're doing the best we can.

We can now be reached at 856 210 6028 and are officially located in Atco, NJ. The building's not open to the public, but we're definately looking for fosters and volunteers!

Cute kennels! Is there a cover for over the top?

Those are awesome!

Nope, we don't have a cover for the tops, but we have already learned we have a few adept jumpers who are going to make life exciting (It's two flemish giant babies who keep escaping...) - so we're going to have to come up with something for those "special" bunnies who just won't stay put.

We just want the kennel to be open and airy, and for the bunnies to be comfortable... so if you have suggestions, we're totally open!

Well, in that case, that is my suggestion, make covers for all of the kennels. They will still be airy, you can just make wooden frames like you did for the doors and attach the wire to it. The risk is too great that they can get into another pen and this could be a problem (fighting/pregnancy) or they may hop out completely and get into something that is not bunny safe. I'd hate for the first time a bun hopped out to be disastrous, like if it is after hours.

We have a few climbers/jumpers at our shelter, to keep airflow (and costs down) we used bedsheets to cover the top and clipped them on the sides. Surprisingly it worked great!
