A lot of the time, fresh herbs are on sale at my grocery store.  Cilantro, dill, parsley, etc… are any of these NOT safe for buns?  I know what greens are and are not safe, but I don’t know much about herbs.

Except maybe for chives. Since they are in the onion family.

Are those herbs?  I’m always confused where the lines are drawn in food categories… lol!

Most of your every day culinary herbs are fine but introduce in small quantities if new to their diet. Some herbs are known more as medicinal and are ok (like chamomile, valerian?) but be aware of their medicinal properties. Then theres some herbs known to be strongly medicinal> Like st johns wort, pennyroyal mint, hemlock, tansy. Those sorts of ones you don’t come across in the food market and aren’t likely to be feeding to the rabbits anyway. :o)

BB veggie list covers most the common safe herbs. https://binkybunny.com/Default.aspx?tabid=144

Yes, Beka, chives are herbs and so is garlic :~) I guess garlic is considered a spice and a herb, but there again, it’s confusing. Maybe a spice if it’s dry and maybe or maybe not a herb in it’s fresh form…but obviously we wouldn’t feed garlic to our rabbits either way. I guess the same could be said for a chive – it’s obviously a seasoning so that’s why I would consider a herb.

Good thinking to point out the onion family! I forget about those as in my house we don’t eat them at all.
