So I have a cheap baby gate up over the doorway to the hallway leading to the bedroom and bathroom.  I have been just stepping over it even though I’m not that tall.  Well, tonite i finally did it.  I tripped and crashed to the floor.  I am not seriously hurt.  Just a bruise on my hip where I landed and maybe one on my arm where i hit something.   Something else will be figured out about blocking her from the bedroom.  She likes to use under the bed and the other side of the bed as her personal pooping ground. 

I don’t know Lolli’s ever going to get over it.   Scared the hell out of her.  She started racing from hiding spot to hiding spot thru the living room, thumping the whole time. I gave her some raisins.  lol  i think she’s calmed down now.  No more thumping, but she tends to like to wait awhile and let me know how she’s feeling by thumping some more.

Yeow! I hope you haven’t upset your back any more!! Bunny proofing can be dangerous for us humans. :p 

My sympathy for ya bunbun1, i know the feeling. Last week I fell in the garden while trying to prevent Jersey running off. Broke my fall on a plant. The plant broke off at the base – lol. Now I have a bruise the size of my palm on my leg. I stuck the plant in a pot of soil and it seems to be ok, less injured than me!

I just fell over the outdoor xpen. Ouch!! What’s going on? These accidents are happening too much. Glad I don’t use those pens on a daily basis.

You may need to have your eyes checked in case you’re distance vision is wonky. Do you wear glasses (contacts?)? I do. I’m always running into the corners of desks, even walls. I walk fast and just don’t always navigate the curves well.

Also, see if you are in slippery or dippy shoes. Might be effecting your balance.

Otherwise, Jersey is moving the cage inch by inch each night. Gotcha!

Well the buns were safely deposited on the other side in their carrier before I fell. Just as well. So I can’t blame Jersey. lol   Thankfully this outdoor pen is temporary. I think my gracelessness  was a combo of lack of sleep and unsure footing.  I’ve always been a wonky walker too, veering left.

I’m only 4′ 9″ so the baby gate literally came up to my crotch. So yeah, it really was only a matter of time. lol And I think I did hurt my back. It hurt really bad yesterday. Sigh. No more trying to step over the baby gate. lol
