Lolli has to think I’m nuts….

I’m off on medical leave.  I’m bored out of my mind.  And talking to Lolli all…the….time.  And yes, most of the time she’s looking at me like I’m nuts.  But we did have a fun morning where I cleaned her pen area and changed her litter and she actually interacted with me.  And by interacted I mean, she didn’t completely ignore me and put her ears down.  LOL   But I fear I am losing my mind.  I do get out and do stuff.  I just find myself talking to her an awful lot. 

Lolli is a very sweet and cute bunny.  If I catch her at her active times, she does tend to pay attention to me.  She stil does her own thing of course but will kind of sit and listen.  Since I’ve gotten her, I wasn’t ever sure she liked me cause she was so different from Eddie.  Eddie was giving me kisses within the first few days of having him.  Lolli’s never been one for petting.  I finally figured out that the rare occasions she’s licked me while I’m holding and rubbing her down is not part of her lick response.  I know because I haven’t changed the way I’ve rubbed her down.  So she does love me.  She’s just a moody girl bunny about it!  haha

I talk to my 3 all the time. People talk to their pets, it isn’t that weird And Monkey gets mad if I walk by her without acknowledging her Highness’s superiority lol.

My mom and I actually say goodbye to the dogs and that we will be back later hehe My family talks to all our pets like they are human. I’d say hello and goodbye to the cats and rabbits but they don’t seem to care as much as the dogs!

I tel Lolli bye bye and to be good. When I come home, I tell her hi. lol I just feel like I’m talking to her more and more. At least I don’t expect her to talk back! haha

My bunnies are a lot like yours. My first bunny, Mr. Bunny, was licking me within a few weeks of coming home. My other rabbit, Ms. Rabbit, has given me nibbly grooms a few times. That’s all. If you put your hand under her chin for licks, she’ll shove her head under your fingers in return.

 What? Some people would think that is odd? Why would you have a pet if you weren’t going to talk to it? I don’t understand these people

We talk to Dutchess constantly, if we don’t talk to her and pet her when we walk by her habitat or where she is in the room she’ll look at us funny. =p
