This weekend I had the bunnies out in the nice fall weather enjoying some fresh air.
We had recently moved a pile to steal that was being stored under some tarping where I let the rabbits play. The pile had been there for two or more years (procrastination much?) when moved it there was all fresh dirt underneith and no grass. The bunnies had a blast digging in it!
But what warmed my heart more then usuall when i watched my bunnies playing together outside was Bubba, he doesn’t care for outside or change, he’s a sensitive boy, but that day he was very interested in the fresh dirt. He walked all over it sniffing and digging then sitting in it to groom himself, he hardly hid in his tunnel as he does 90% of the time he’s outside.

I’m always affraid Bubba’s not happy living with me, as he doesn’t show it like the other bunnies. But this weekend he just made me so happy… just by being happy himself

This Thanksgiving I’m Thankful for my Bunnies I’d be one misrable person if it wasn’t for the naughty little furballs always making me smile and forget the worries of the day

That’s wonderful. We really are lucky, there are not many people who know how great a relationship with rabbits can be. My three bring so much joy in my life, I’m thankful for them every day.
