I have a new foster bunny, and we know what that means, time for a new photo and video! This time we have a mom and three kits. The babies are around a month old, mom is maybe a year old. She came to The Rabbit Haven from a local shelter after giving birth to her babies. The shelter is not set up for caring for newborn rabbits, so they asked us for rescue, and of course, we took them in. The babies eat constantly, I am going through lots of alfalfa hay and pellets with these guys in the house. Gianna is a little skinny, and also eats constantly. We are tryiing to put a little weight on her to prepare her for separation from the kits and her spay surgery. The babies don't have names yet, because we are not sure of their genders yet. Here is a photo and a link to their video. Enjoy! The music is "Fireflies" by Owl City, one of my daughter's favorite songs.

I love the name Gianna.
