Happy Thanksgiving all you Canadians! I miss having Thanksgiving in October… silly Americans having it at the end of November.

            Ah, what a cute pic!

Happy Thanksgiving! I wish it was Thanksgiving here. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday – besides Christmas, of course.

Hm. I should celebrate both. Alaska is close enough to Canada.
But someone else has to cook. Really. Pass the pumpkin pie, please.

Hey, what do Canadians have for Thanksgiving? Is it just like American Thanksgiving or do your menus differ from ours?

Turkey, pumpkin pie, stuffing, cranberries… same thing pretty much Canadians just make less of a big deal about it, and we do ours on a weekend, not a Thursday

But, now I can only have american thanksgiving

We had great weather up in Alberta. It was a perfect Thanxgiving that way.

Funny, on Sunday I made a little ‘thanksgiving’ dinner as practice for Nov. I was trying out some new recipes and I get too paranoid if I’m making something new for guests. And then I realized it was the Canadian thanksgiving! What a coincidence. Hope everyone had a nice dinner with family and friends!

We had family here from Scotland, they had their first ever Thanksgiving!
We do Turkey & Ham in my family (mmmm ham), and then all the fixin’s. I usually bring the brussle sprouts as I love them, and if i didn’t know one else would :p
The Bunnies got to play outside in the grass and dirt for Thanksgiving, I saw a lot of binkies Hopefully the weather will be nice on weekends so they can still spend time this fall outside.

Canadian Thanksgiving pretty much the same as the American, although we don’t go nuts about green bean casserole.

Weather was great here too, in fact we had Thanksgiving dinner on our deck! Absolutely unbelievable. Last year we had a little snowstorm on Thanksgiving.

Scooter here. For those wondering what’s different about Thanksgiving up here, my better half said it pretty much. But as an expatriate American who’s been up here 11 years, I still find it a bit odd to have Thanksgiving 6 weeks “early”. This may be, in part, because I’m used to watching the Detroit Lions routinely getting their *sses kicked on Thanksgiving Day football.
