I know some of you feed Bok Choy to your rabbits. I recently bought a head of it for .79 cents a lbs. So it was almost 5 bucks and the silly buns only want to eat the leaves!!! Does anyone else have buns that do that too? Seems like such a waste!!

do you leave them in there over night? sometimes my rabbits will eat the stems or what ever you call it at night when they are hungry.

Mines eat leaves of everything first, then eventually get to the stems, even with some parsley, picky little bunnies LOL

Dexter and Dennis will eat anything and everything, leaves, stems, whatever I give them! Delilah is pickier and likes the stemmy pieces better than the leaves, I think she likes the crunch! They make it so difficult!

I hate wasting food too – my bun will eat the green leafy part but not the white stems so I always cut the leaves off for him and I get the rest of it!

Mine ignore the stem mostly too. I slice it thin and chuck it in a miso or wanton soup so it’s not wasted.
Be careful when giving bok choy for first time because it is member of cabbage family so potential to cause bit of gas.

Bunnies always eat the “dessert” parts first!
