It’s made of cardboard.  I can’t say it looks comfortable or to my taste. I didn’t even look at price…

I just saw it and thought BUNNY!      They’d love it!

But they’d eat it! You’d have a half-eaten chair and end up falling straight on your butt on the floor : D

Ah no, they’d “customise” it. lol

Bunny perfect. They’d “customise” it to death… I could see keeping cardboard behind the sofa to shred becoming a problem when the chairs are cardboard.

Oh my! That’s too funny. They even have children’s furniture. I could see maybe furnishing a rabbit room with this. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about them chewing on the furniture. HAHAHA But it seems a bit pricey though.

Well shoot… couldn’t you just make your own? With the amount of cardboard WE have lying around… lol

This is true – might be a way to use up all that ‘high-quality’ cardboard I bring home from work ‘cos I can’t bear to see it thrown out when I have rabbits that would love it.

Bindi’s dream home would be furnished with that! He loves to sit on couches.

haha! Liike I said, I didn’t check price. Knew it would be hefty. What I really like is that it’s flexible and theres a tunnel underneath. My rabbits will have to settle for their $10 air conditioning duct. That’s flexible and is a tunnel.

I posted about this as a curiousity more than anything.  I have just seen a similar product that is made specifically for bunnies!  Bonus is you can get it here and it doesn’t cost  $300+ dollars.

Wow…you’re good jerseygirl. We just put that in the store yesterday! Ironically, the design came from my husband’s very first architecture project when he was in college. His assignment was to to create a structure that they had to sleep in over night (on the campus lawn). We’ve got some funny photos I’ll have to post. He called it the “caterpillar”. The original was much bigger than the tunnel haven, of course, as he had to actually sleep in it. And here we are 20 years later using that design for bunnies!

Lol Really? I thought when posting this that I might be behind the eight ball. Or if it hadn’t been launched, that it wouldn’t hurt to get word out.

Heck, I would have gone for a rectagular box…. and probably failed the assignment.

I have commented before (when prototype was sighted webcams) that it reminds me of Sydney Opera House in some ways. Tell your hubby that this too will become and icon he’s up there with Jorn Utzon. :p

That’s very cool. I think Sammy is due for a new toy in the house. She’s kind of permanently mad at me the past two weeks, so maybe a new place to sulk and growl would be just right. Nom, nom, nom….

Well, after he did commercial architecture work for over 15 years…. and hated it,  it may have been better off  if he “failed” the assignment. . He enjoys taking his “structure” skills and applying them  to nerdy tech-towns instead. But one can ‘t deny the positives of that tunnel structure now!
