My husband that is, not one of the rabbits.

I went out last night, leaving him to care for the rabbits. As usual because I wasn’t there they played up – I have patches of paint missing in the hall where they’ve been peeled of the wood work and the wooden fender for the fireplace is ruined. I don’t know how he manages to create such misbehaviour! Or, perhaps its more appropriate to say, how he fails to prevent such misbehaviour.

But to top it all – he forgot to give them their dinner! You can imagine the reception I got a breakfast time today. I appear to be being held responsible for the unacceptable standard of care by the buns and my god they can sulk.

I’m sort of hesitant to leave my bunny with my dad when I leave for Oregon for 4 days soon.

I keep telling him how rabbits are MORE curious than cats and will get into everything if left unsupervisied!! Last time I went to oregon, she was in my room, so it made it easier for him to let bunny out. But she is in the living room, where .. well, she can hop onto everything.

I’m thinking about putting her in my room like I did last time, and moving her back downstairs when I get home. The house should be closing soon, so I won’t need to worry about people going through the house

Sounds like your bunnies have been naughty bunnies

Oh my! I think you should take a photo of their sulking and next time you have to leave their care in your husband’s hands, post that photo somewhere he’ll see with the comment below the photo. “Just try forgetting to feed us again – we will eat your home”

No wonder they started eating the walls. lol

I have trouble sometimes…my sister and I live together and sometimes she’s really oblivious to the rabbits. When I’ve arranged her to feed them I’ve made it super easy. Seriously, take-out-fridge-give-to-rabbits easy, but it can still be forgotten until hours late. Oh well, the buns survive.
