I got a call around 10 AM yesterday from HJ, that basically consisted of me saying “I’m too busy to talk, calc test today.” And HJ replying “Real quick, what’s the name of Zelda’s vet?”

I didn’t think much of it at the time, but after I was done studying, I called him back.

Zelda climbed up onto his sink, knocked over his deodorant, and ate a piece of it

Dr Brown basically told him it’s unlikely she ate much because of the bad taste, and to bring her in only if she stopped eating or pooing. Which, luckily, she hasn’t.

According to HJ, she later went to sniff his chest, smelled the deodorant, and promptly turned away. Looks like she won’t be noming on any more deodorant for a while.

And it looks like I need to force him to write down the vet’s info where he can find it. Normally, I’m asleep on Fridays at 10AM.

Glad he called you asap. I find refrigerator magnets are excellent for holding emergency info. in a place that’s easy for everyone to find. Just a short list of phone numbers in plain sight.

                  Also glad she’s OK.

I have a sneaky bun that tries to eat everything, but deodorant is weird even to me, hahaha. Although yesterday I did catch him trying to eat a rubber prop cockroach from the Halloween store I’m working at… That was a little bizarre.

I’m glad that Zelda is fine (great name, btw). You’re lucky you have someone as awesome as HJ who will make sure everything is fine :]
