  It’s finally scheduled! We’re closing tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.! Then we have to clean, paint the whole thing and lay the floors. Lots of hard work and about 30 days to get it done and be moved in. Not to mention my husband works 2 jobs and I have a 5 & 6 year old that are homeschooled. Thank goodness for Grandma!
  
  I’m so excited. Hugo will not have to be locked up anymore and I won’t have to sneak him in and out when he needs to see the vet. It’s been a long journey for us (2 & 1/2 years) but it’s finally happening. I just had to tell someone. Thanks for listening!

  That is exciting! Painting, cleaning and laying floors – well that sounds like fun (well, not really), but it will be worth it.

  I currently live in my grandparent’s house and my dad and I are trying to sell it. So far, one buyer decided against it after getting the inspection done. They didn’t even call us or anything O.o

  Thanks. It wouldn’t be so bad if I wasn’t limited on time. We have to move out of our apartment by Oct 31st and I don’t want Hugo in there while we’re working on it. Since I’ll be painting every room of the house and the floors are just plywood right now. We’ll be putting in the flooring ourselves as well.

  You are going to be busy! So you are painting every single room :~) that’s a whole lot of painting. Did you let your daughters pick their paint color for their room?

  Yes I did. It’s their own spot again for the 1st time in over 2 years. It’s going to be pink! I made sure I picked out all our colors since we want to paint it before we put the floor down.
  It was a foreclosure which is why it needs so much work but it’s only 12 years old and all we could afford. They people before just didn’t take care of it. It’s a real shame.

  From what I understand, that is many times the case for a foreclosure which I agree is a shame. I understand many people just take everything they can from these homes because they are mad at the bank…not that it’s the bank’s fault.
  
  The fun thing is that you are going to make it your own and your daughters will have their own room again.

  wow how exciting! having re-painted most of my house in the last year and a half i can really ‘feel’ how much work you have. wow. but like sarita said… it will totally feel like *your* home by the time you’re done. very exciting! good luck getting it all done in time
