First time shed..  I bought face masks but, at the spur of the moment, just took the bunny into the bathroom to pluck.

“Mommy, I hate you right now.” 

It is like she has the Easter Island statue face on her bum… Well, she is STILL shedding. I plucked for a good 20 mins. I don’t want to freak her out for too long. More tomorrow night. She was a good girl

I sent the picture to my boyfriend and he said “Koucha is old.”  I said, ”It’s her under coat! Her fur is grey under!”

Wow, that’s some serious disapproval going on in the last pic! lol Naturally Lolli hates getting brushed or plucked at too. Chacha will get over it….eventually.

I put Lolli back in the pen tonite to get her better litterbox trained. She hasn’t been in the pen for quite a while but she knew what was up and had to thump her disapproval at me before I even got her in the pen! LOL

Wow! Is Lolli free ranged normally? I didn’t get a thump at all during plucking.. which is very unusual! Now Chacha just stands there while I pluck hair near her butt

HAHAHA, It is funny that she is shedding on her butt area
SHe normally moves around and thumps at me and moves the towel (a sign she needs to go to the bathroom) but she didn’t.

i showed the photo to my dad and he said animals are smart, their bodies will shed fur when the weather changes Darn.

Pip is going through a ‘just on the butt’ shed right now. I’ve finally gotten her used to the lint roller. If I rub it over her shedding spot, she begins to furiously lick at her mattress. It’s too funny.
Wish I only got thumps from Fiver at shedding time. I have to use one of those love gloves on him and before we begin, he must have his ritual tilt at it, meaning he gets to box the glove between each brushing and removal of fluff. (He once bit my wrist right about the glove while I was trying to groom him…so I let him do this so he knows he’s still boss.)

Eddie and Lolli were, then they got confined to just the living room and dining room since they pooped all over the bedroom. And I use a baby gate to block her from the bedroom so instead of stepping over it all night, I decided to put her back in the pen and take the gate down. lol

I had a similar mess this evening! I brushed my 2 pound Lionhead and HOLY SMOKES! I brushed…and brushed….and brushed! All on his butt too, LOL!
