I adopted a little black and white mini rex who needed a new home as his owner was moving out of the country. He is about a year old, neutered, and very perky. I am hoping he will be able to take the empty spot in my former quartet. It may take a while since Duffy, his name is, is nothing like Mops. He is a kind of anti-Mops. Also, my trio does not feel the way toward him as they felt toward Mops. But I like Mr Duffy and am working toward a new quartet with him.

don't be fooled, he is anything but shy

Hello Duffy, you're in for quite an adventure and you have a wonderful bunny mom!
My Bunny Burrow is full! Pringles & Toby, Daisy & Lola, and my senior citizens Hershey & Simba.
The piggies are back, add Brownie and Sweetpea to the mix.

that's unlikely, the quick bond. I am aiming to have Duffy's quartet by 2011.

yes, exactly. There were so many rabbits looking for new homes but when I found out about Duffy I thought he was a Lint-Neigey. I knew I couldn't have a long-haired this time b/c it would just make me compare to Mops all the time... so I decided to go with a Lintneigey.

Petzy,
I can't believe I missed this post! I went on early this morning and started reading your excellent, and illustrated, bonding thread, and had to search for what I missed. (the entrance of Duffy.)

He looks lovely and I am glad for your sake that you got a 4th. I know you are much more comfortable with 4, despite the choreography involved in bonding them all. I will always love rexes, so when they get you down, just snuggle that lovely fur. He's a lucky boy to have found you.

(Though I'm reminded of those demos on TV that say something like: Bonding 4 Bunnies. Do Not Try This At Home.

Yes, I love the quartets... enough so to go through a gruelling bonding again. It is really just a personal fancy that I have had since bonding my friend's four. I do not recommend trying it unless you want to give up ALL your free time for bonding sessions. ~

I will probably end up with 2 pairs at some point. I am going to try to bond Smudge with Monkey, and get a little boy to bond to Moose. He just does not like the girls. And Smudge licked Monkey's nose once when I first introduced them. So it could work.

...Of course, they could turn into a quartet, maybe, if we can convince Moose that girls aren't that bad. At that point, I will have to drive to Alberta me thinks. hehe

I think I might retire from bonding after this one... it is aging me!(grey hairs)

LOL

Monkey, well, you know.. I might have to end up stealing both Smudgie and Monkey from you.. and Moosie. He looks like a stuffed doll and he might be my snuggle partner

Petzy, I agree that Duffy is a Lint/Neigey I can't tell Lint or Duffy apart in some photos.. unless I look for the white. Duffy seems so sassy!

I miss the grey hairs of Mops's mane...
This bonding is harder on me because I worry so much about one of them getting ill. I try not to use too much stress at all.
