An Edmonton artist who needed some rabbit-related assistance donated a piece of art to the rabbit adoption group I volunteer for. I am totally in love with the piece. I am almost tempted to bid in its auction.
This is the piece

Nice tile piece, how big is it? It's funny, I just posted a picture of a portrait my mom did of my rabbit on another thread one second ago. She's an artist and mainly does mixed media of natural images like insects, female figures, plants, etc. Now I have a feeling that she's going to go on a bunny-painting binge, I'll probably be able to convince her to donate some to benefit the rabbit shelter here. |

I think it's 12" by 14" or close to that. Will have to check your thread, Maya. |

I'm trying to set up the auction at a physical location but it will also be on the adoption group's FB page. |

What about on Ebay? I know they have a special deal for non-profits...of course you may have to ship but the buyer would pay for shipping and handling. Just a thought. |

Beautiful! You'll have to let us know when the auction is open, and where. |

My Bunny Burrow is full! Pringles & Toby, Daisy & Lola, and my senior citizens Hershey & Simba. The piggies are back, add Brownie and Sweetpea to the mix. |

I have to show this off. One of the rabbit Advocate members here in Portland is an awesome painter, and she did this painting of her bunny Eloise. Eloise had to see it of course. Here she is on Lorraine's shoulder looking at the piece.

Once I have my house, I am definitely going to go to Lorraine and commision some work! |

I've been seeing some mosiac style work lately, I quite like it. Petzy, is this a photo of a large tiled work? It almost looks like a mosiac wall. edit: 12x14" I see now.
Monkeybun, that picture of the picture is awesome in itself. Little Eloise sitting up there is too funny. |
