I love how fancy all the little jumps are, just like at horse shows. And it’s so cute how some of the owners give the bunny a “pep snuggle” before the big jumps. It shows that they love their bunnies.

That is neat! The long jump was impressive! The last bunny just wanted to go! “I don’t care bout no order, I just want to jump them all!”

Bugz would excel at this, for a little rabbit he can throw himself around like no tomorrow however harness are evil so thinking this is not going to be an option But looks like fun!

What is with all that clucking? Haha. Very cool stuff… but I bet you none of those rabbits are living in untopped x-pens.

Moose would do well with that i think. That boy can jump! But there is no way i’m gonna train him to jump that high, not with 2 other bunnies in pens around that he likes to chase and nip

If there is one thing Danish bunny owners love, then it is rabbit jumping. You’d be absolutely amazed by these little girls and how well trained their bunnies are. They just bend down their knees and make a click noise and the bunnies jump into their laps and are ready to be lifted. I’m so impressed.

So although I am sad that they don’t want to keep their bunnies inside or neuter them, I will say that at least they get more outtime and exercise than a lot of other bunnies around the world. When I got Molly, a lot of the equipment that you see in the video came along with her, but I have never used it. Once we get our house, I will set it up for them.

Hey, maybe you will see me in a youtube video then

Haha love it. this makes me want to enter Fern in a competition! I don’t think she’s quite ready yet though I want one of those little jumps though. Right now I am just using cut up cardboard boxes.

I posted this on my Facebook! I think it’s so cute! I was very impressed by the long jumps. I’ve see plenty of videos of the regular agility, but those long jumps were something else!

I would say don’t try this at home though. These owners obviously know what they are doing. I could see many rabbits getting injured, some of those things look dangerous to me. That long jump is amazing.

My hubby said “Don’t show that to Moose” when I showed him the video

if only i had the money for the jumps.
and if only we had compititions around here, then maybe my mom would think twice if we had a prize winning agility bun..

Well currently I am using 5 inch high cardboard jumps so I don’t think my version is dangerous. I would never do something like the high or long jump, just a couple small jumps in a row.

I actually had a bunny when I was a teenager who could easily jump 1.60 m (=5ft 3). She wouldn’t even need a run before the jump, it was quite extraordinary, and she did it without anyone pushing her to do so (actually it was quite bad that she loved to do it, because it meant that she could get into the neighbour gardens). Molly is a dutch who are considered the best breeds for bunny agility and she does some really high jumps as well around the apartment.

Those rabbits would jump out of their pens then as a sport, wouldn’t they?

LOL, Petzy, this is exactly what I thought about. I was like.. “It sure would be cool to teach MJ to jump like that.” And then he comes over and starts sniffing the baby gates to the bedrooms and I immediately pictured him soaring over the baby gates and into the no-bunnies-allowed-zone. Might have to re-think my interest in rabbit hopping.
