food thief strikes again!

recently my dog has been really really bad about snatching food.  i’ve had him for 9 years but just in the last year i’ve had to be careful about leaving things out on the counter.  for example last week he ate an entire loaf of bread.  i had forgotten to put it on top of the fridge and when i woke up in the morning… no bread.  just the torn plastic bag left on the floor.  i was happy that i had one croissant to have for breakfast instead of my usual toast.  when i got out of the shower he had eaten the croissant too!!!

so this morning i fed pinky her usual morning pellets.  when i walk by her room to leave for work usually she is still eating pellets when OR just finished and sprawled out in a pellet coma.  but today her food was completely gone and she was periscoping into the hallway with a great sense of urgency as if tattling on the dog! apparently i had forgotten to close off her room with the baby gate and *some one* had snorfed her pellets!  the horror.

Naughty doggy!
My old dog used to eat rabbit food that was upstairs as well, and if I had a plate of Pumpkin for the bunnies, it’d be gone the second i turned my back. But she did not steal food from tables/counters, the only time she ever did was when we left her in our old room where we rented instead of in her crate, she found of box of Tofefee chocolates… we thought she’d eaten them, but she had actually spread them all over the room hidden in places.

My old roomies dog ate the top off my pie that was cooling on the counter, and my birth control that was in my purse… he was a naughty doggy.

Heehee. Pinky is such a snitch when it comes to her food. Bogart gets no slack and I mean no slack from Ms. Pinky. Snatching Pinky’s pellets – the nerve, the nerve.

Bogart you are going to get in trouble! How dare you steal the bread AND croissant, but the pellets! Pinky is gonna tell on you!
