I found some I forgot I had on the computer! Next up will be pictures of the new habitat/more pics of Koji while he enjoys the new space I have set up now that I have more room in the room without the other cage…

Anyways, this was Latte/BunBun/Beans. He was a crazy binkier and a good little man. And I do mean little – he must have been under 2 lbs as Koji is 2lbs 2oz and Bun was a bit smaller even. He spent most of the day flopped in his corner litter box, you can see a photo of that here. Not cuddly, but he was very tolerant and enjoyed occasional pets, and as you can see here disapproved of but didn’t kill me when I needed to pick him up for nail trims or a photo. I wish I took some of him and his rat-mate cuddled together, it was quite the sight. Still haven’t figured out what the heck he was – Himalayan Dwarf?

Throwing a couple dog pictures in, too, just cuz I know a number of you all here love non-bun animals too. Miss that girl (our Diva) too. Remembering the ones now passed is helping me feel better this weekend.

What a sweetie! He was definately a dwarf of some description. His markings look like sable or smoke pointed. And Diva is a dalmation mix? She looks calm though her name tells me maybe she wasn’t?
I used to look after a dalmation and she was high energy! It’s nice to have these memories in pcitures. I hope one day you’ll be looking over the ones of your ratty girls and be feeling the fondness and less of the pain.
          (((Hugs))) to you.

Thanks. I’m feeling much better today already, although I did throw my back out again, so I guess it’s just a rough luck week for me.

Diva was… well, I wouldn’t say she was high energy, but she was certainly a diva. Quite smart and even more sassy. Total alpha-female. Picked fights with the 200-lb giant breeds at the park when she was a 20lb puppy (one of them sat on her to put her in her place!). Wouldn’t listen to anyone if she didn’t feel like it. Ran off all the time and ignored us. Ate $50 bills when we went on vacation. Regularly ate house plants if we did anything else she didn’t like, so she would barf on the floor. Funny in hindsight, not at the time! But despite all the misbehaving she was really very sweet, super friendly with people. I was walking her off leash one day and a car rolled up, door open, and tried to dog-nap her. She was climbing in, too, that’s how much she liked and trusted people.

Half Dalmation half Australian Blue Tic Healer, we think. She was an adoptee that resulted from somebody having a whoopsie with their Dalmation girl, but with her muddy markings, one half standing ear, and herding instincts it sounds believable. Oh, and the neighbor having an unfixed Aussie. Oh well, someone’s oops was our gain.

Bun’s whole litter looked just like him. I’ve never seen another bunny like that, since, though.
