I am not the collecting type, but I was given a tiny tea set with Peter Rabbit theme and I am keeping it! It is almost too cute to use it. It has its own picnic basket where everything fits inside and it is really nice quality German china.

Oh, that is beautiful! At least it’s useful stuff so it’s not exactly a collection if you actually use it like it was intended for. They are full sizes aren’t they for grown-ups?

I thought it was for children, but I saw this mug from the same collection on amazon

            http://www.amazon.com/World-Beatrix-Potter…B003ACUYHO

            Mine is really small, though.

I love it! The fact it has a little basket and everything just makes it to cute. I agree, a keeper!

I will buy anything with a bunny on it LOL I have a china mug that is my favorite, as it has bunnies, guinea pig, gerbil and a hamster all on it.
I found some cute cookie cutters, plates, egg shape thingy, cake pans, oven mits, socks, even a shirt with bunnies on them that I have purchased. Honestly I’ve never used the egg thing yet it’s till in the package LOL

I made magnets, pins and X-Mas decorations with the cookie cutters for fundraisers.

That set is beautiful! A keeper for sure! I like to collect little rabbit figurines, not cheesy ones. My favorite is a tiny little bone carved rabbit that is about a half inch big.

I showed your tea set photos to my co-worker who collects Beatrix Potter stuff, she loved it! She wanted to know if this is a new set or something older? And asked what brand it is (?). She was telling me about an older soap dish she got in this theme that was $2 at a garage sale, what a deal!

The egg shaper thing I got in a store that sells everything from the UK. I find rabbits are much more popular decorative theme there then here. Most of my new rabbit themed things are from Europe.
I like rabbit stickers, and I find all i can ever get are easter themed (Boooo )

There’s something about B. Potter things. It’s so classic.   I’ve seen miniture sets but not nearly as fine or as pretty as this full size one.

@ Andi: you might like this bumper sticker from cafe press. Some of them even resemble your crew!

LMAO… that’s cute! Make the fat middle one white with brown spots and it’s Suzy’s big butt… we call her Pancake bunny b/c she squishes down soooo flat, it’s amazing to see her flat and round.

Dissaproving Bunny Bumper Sticker – “Bunny Disaproves of your crappy driving” … they should make some.

hehehe! Good one!  Rabbit people would get a chuckle and the rest of the public would be like “huh?”
Well, you can make your own at cafe press so I’ll be watching out for that one…

Petzy, your tea set made me think of a possible fundraiser that would have been good to coincide when the new Alice in Wonderland film came out. A mad hatters tea party. You could break out the collector tea sets at an event like that. Don’t know how I went from Peter Rabbit to Alice though!

There is the White Rabbit in Alice’s Wonderland, and Peter Rabbit is also children’s literature, so the association is not far!

It just says Reutter Porzellan on the back of my set, it is a new thing. I don’t know where it was purchased. I like small cups for espresso and bunnies so therefore this was thought fitting for me~

You can see the set on the Reutter website here

                                http://www.reutterporzellan.com/en/product…otter.html

                                they have such nice sets!

All the tea sets are so cute.
