Bearded Dragons

 I got 2 ‘special’ girls via UPS this morning. They are so adorable! 

The bigger one doesn’t really have anything noticeable about her other than she is smaller than normal. 

The smaller one has a noticeable disability but so far she has hunted down 12 crickets and is resting comfortably as high on a branch as she can get. 

No names yet 

Only have a video of me opening the box and taking them out didn’t want to stress them even more. 

The littlest one is kind of extreme her head is tilted completely upside down. But I noticed when she is not as stressed her head returns to an almost normal position. Reminds me of my leopard gecko when he is stressed he looks straight up and starts spinning. 

Lol if you have name suggestions feel free to tell me.

They are cool looking…but UPS…no wonder they were stressed.

Yep UPS it is actually quite safe to ship animals like fish, reptiles if you know what you are doing. I have had my leopard gecko, numerous fish and now these 2 shipped UPS overnight air.

They look real healthy from what I can see from your vid. I’d love to see your home that you set up for them. My boyfriends roommate has an adult that he just moved into their new apartment. I love that little duder so much. I like catching spiders for them He’s an adult though …eEeEe lil babies!!! I miss my leopard gekos …can’t deal with buying crickets anymore tho…blech! I used to feed a lot of wax worms and meal worms and crickets. They LOVED the wax worms! Glad they did well on the flight!

They seem healthy except the massive head issue lol But hopefully it corrects itself like her sisters did. If not that’s fine.
I will be doing away with the crickets (I loathe them! Stinky nasty things lol) and doing silkworms, phoenix worms and dubia and turkistan roaches. My leo refuses to eat crickets and he can’t catch them due to his disability so I have to hand feed them and having a cricket ripped in half in your hand is not fun lol.
Once they get settled in I will show their enclosures. They are in the same tank temporarily while stuff gets moved around to fit both tanks in the living room.

They are soooo tiny!

Aww I use to have 3 beardies. Mine were named Thor, Frank, and George. I don’t know of any names but if I come up with some I will let you know. Good luck, they are really sweet.

 Here are a few pictures of them not great since I didn’t want to really mess with them.

Decided on the names Echo for the more normal girl and Psyche for the star gazing girl. Both are from Greek Mythology Echo being the one who Hera took her power of speech so she could only repeat what she heard. And Psyche was the Goddess of the Soul who Aphrodite was jealous of and commanded her to fall in love with hideous men etc etc etc.

AWww they’re cute! Lintini, I think Sonn said that the one that’s looking up has a head tilt of sorts when she’s stressed.

Yeah the one looking up (Psyche) has the star gazing issue but I already knew about it and was prepared. The only problem with the way her head is it is hard to give her water and you can’t soak her because she freaks out.
