So, earlier this month we had family visiting us from far away, stressful time on Lily! Then my parents go on vacation & I am doggy sitting!  The dog is a golden retreiver who is the sweetest, her & Boo’s were raised together & love each other very much, except that Boo’s thinks he can steel Keesha’s bed, LOL! I have doggy sat Keesha before while having Lily! Then find fleas on Lily & put treatment on him, it’s been a very stressfull month for LILY, and us too!

Keesha is the most laziest & gentlest dog EVER! She’s too lazy to chase any animal, even the wild bunnies outside, she just lays there & watches them hop around! LOL! Keesha is so sad that Lily doesn’t want to be freinds with her & Lily’s not  too sure about Keesha! Every day I take Keesha back home, don’t want to leave her at the house with Lily when I’m not there, & every night I pic Keesha up & bring her to our home! It’s been about a week now & still Lily freaks out, runs & hides for about an hour! But then hops out, right around Keesha to his food & litter area! LOL! It’s so funny! Lily will litterally hop within a foot of Keesha & right around her! And Keesha just lays there watching tv!

When I first bring Keesha in, she’ll want to up to Lily to sniff & greet, but when Lily runs away Keesha starts whining! LOL!   At bedtime, Keesha sleeps on the floor in our bedroom, Lily’s in there too & hops all around Keesha! LOL! I just find that so funny, it’s like Lily’s pretending to be affraid of Keesha! I will be posting pictures of all three of them basically laying together! Once I can get it to work!

How much longer are you dog sitting Keesha?
I suspect that Lily is genuinely afraid when Keesha first arrives because it is instinctive to run and hide from a predator (ie. dog). She may recognize Keesha’s smell later on and come out since they now know each other. It’s very good that you are not taking a chance and leaving them unsupervised. Pix would be nice to see of them getting along.

Be careful which brand of flea meds. you use on a bunny, as well as the dosage.

Thank you! I used advantage & only under 1/2 cat dose for 12lbs, he was 4 pounds at the time of neuter (3 months ago), so if anything it isn’t enough! He’s getting weighed & getting revolution on saturday! I will be telling the vet that I had used advantage on him & how much! I really wanted to bring Lily in on monday when I braught Keesha, but by myself it would have been too much with both of them! But I did talk to my cousin & she said that’d be fine, but definately bring him in to get checked! LILY’S so happy again & playing with Boos’ & Keesha! I am pretty sure it was just fleas, since he’s better & advantage only worrks on fleas!
I would never leave them unsuppervised! I trust Keesha, & I know she’d never hurt anouther animal intentionally, but you never what could happen unintentionally! And I want to make sure Lily has full roam of the house & isn’t disturbed, and I know Keesha feels more comfortable at her home! At night, I don’t want to neglect my pets, that’s why I bring Keesha to our home!

Should say, even though it’s a pain in our butts to bring Keesha back & forth, it’s best for all of the animals! LOL! That’s what’s important!
