I use particle board with the linoleum over mine and then the carpet.

I just envy you the room to set UP a new xpen. I need somewhere else besides my teensy kitchen. Especially when there's cooking going on. Makes the bunnies nervous.
Is Sammy just running around free these days otherwise? Because I have a feeling that once the pen is up and you expect her to remain within it's walls, there may be a slight tussle.
How good is she at jumping? 0_o

BTW...LOVE the ZOOM image. xD Faster than a speeding bullet...more powerful than a locomotive...wait, what? ~_~
Mimzy, Pip & Fiver...yup...my day is all about them. :)

MM,
Don't envy me too much - it's the room with my Computer desk, TV, bookcase, storage case for bunny food, toys, and chair to watch TV.
I actually am trying to guess how small a piece of particle board, or two, I can purchase to have the most flexibility in initial set up. Might need to rearrange the whole room.

Sammy is not free range. She is out 1st thing in AM, has her routine, and must be called/coaxed back into cage for breakfast when I go to work. Then I let her out after work, and sometimes she's allowed in my bedroom first just to get it out of her system. She likes a quick nap under the bed. She is running at the sound of the clicker, so that's working to get her to come to me. She usually hops in and out of her cage throughout the night and I let her stay out later than Spockie. (10 instead of 8PM.) She runs for her night treat and bed, so no problem there.

She won't jump. Anywhere, on anything. Not at all. Took the top off her current cage, she sniffed it a bit, then ignored it. I think her legs have never been that straight, so she's an Under Bunny not an Over Bunny.

Did a search on our site here on flooring, and found several recommendations for vinyl sheets. Home Depot had a cut remnant of 4' that he sold to me for 3'. It is stamped inspected PVC shower liner. I intend to put the tiles on it, so it makes the tiles stick to something waterproof, and is more flexible and mobile. Got cuter tiles at Big Lots, too. So now I just have to do it. Sound right to you guys?

Still considering particle board instead of sheet vinyl. Puff puff. Just rearranged bookcase & moved stuff out of room & vacuumed. Sammy is hiding under my bed, for the day it looks like.

I use vinyl over my particle board. My friend made me some "flooring" when I moved into my home for my pens. She put some boards across the back (I would just do 2 boards for one pen) and then used silicone grout stuff to "glue" it into place around the edges. Then I put my carpet on top.

LOL Petzy, now I understand your post on my other thread.

Yes, give a girl what she asks for. I don't know if Sammy will share like a nice girl though...Beka might get peed on.
(Just to clarify, Beka wants it finished and pix up by her bday. I'm not making one for her. Although, if she gets too rowdy on her bday, we might need a time out habitat for her...)

JG, where did you find that adorable pix?????
