Found field mouse in the garage. It is super tiny like 3 inches long maybe and also has a short tail. We are trying to catch and release it  back into the wild.  My mom says if I dont catch it soon that she is going to set a trap. I put food(cracker and peanut butter) out so hopefully it is caught in the morning.  Please tell me if you have any ideas on how I can easily catch it. it is not at all afraid of people. It will come up to you and just look at you lol. It doesnt run away really quickly and simply walks away on its own time. Is it possibly a baby? If it is should I not realease it into the wild? Also my bunnies nic cage is in the garage. Could the mouse possible hurt him?

You could get one of those live traps, they are like traps that you put food in and they trap the mouse instead of killing it.
