        I dropped my Ponyo off at the vet’s this morning for his castration, and I was all mopey like a big baby, haha.
        I got home and he wasn’t in my room (obviously, clever Ahvo) and I was so sulky all day. xD
        I get a call at 3:30 about what time to pick him up, and I’m hoping he’s feeling okay. They said he may be a bit BLEHH for a day or so.
        Did you do anything to make your buns more comfortable when they had their snippies? xD
        Did anyone else feel all : ( when they dropped off their buns? ;__;

        Also, a friend of mine is convinced Ponyo has some lionhead in him.
        Apparently it’s the markings, and his increasingly fluffy head and top of ears. (He does look a bit like a punk rocker now, Haha).
        I’ll take some pictures of him tonight if he’s not too floopy from his anesthesia. <3

              They kept my boys overnight, too. I had the floor of his condo really clean and soft towels down, but after the first day he just kicked them aside. I did block off his upper level so he wouldn’t go jumping up there.

              (((((snip vibes for Ponyo and calming vibes for you!)))) Let us know how he does.

                Overnight isn’t necessarly a bad thing.

                My bunny was kept for 2 nights to make sure she was pooping and eating well.

                I was worried sick, lol. the house was too quiet without any diva attitude, but, spaying and neutering is absolutely the best thing that can be done to a rabbit.

                My bunny was hopping all over the place when she got home. I hear that boys recover more faster than girls. Is he getting any pain meds?

                  I gave my bun lots of tasty carrots after the surgery to make sure he was getting enough to eat. Nothing seemed too out of the ordinary after his surgery… He just moved around a lot less.

                  Keep us posted.

                    Well, the vet said he wasn’t eating dry food or pooping. : <
                    He had a bit of apple, apparently. I think it may have been homesickness though. He won’t poop without a good long wait when we go for a grass run unless he has his litterbox bag.

                    First thing he did when we got back was sit in his litter tray. He tried, he spread his legs a lot too, but he can’t go.
                    He just lay down in his litterbox. He doesn’t do that. : |
                    Poor thing is so off and sad looking. If he hasn’t pooped by tonight he gets an emergency appointment in the morning, thank god.
                    Otherwise it’s just a Tuesday checkup.

                    She said he weighs about 1.5 Kilos (3.3 lbs). They made his little ear bleed with a catheter though, and he can’t groom it off the back of his neck easily, so I’ll go help him out when he’s less sleepy.

                    I missed him so much. ;__;
