I was wondering if anyone else's buns do this, and if it means anything.

Zeus spends a lot of time just.. staring at me!  He'll be eating his hay, and then specifically turn around and position himself to stare at me while he's eating.  He also loves to hang out in the bathroom, but always flops out in there in a way where he can continue staring at me in the living room.  Sometimes he'll just sit there and stare, doing nothing else.

Does this mean anything?  Why do they do it?  I usually start laughing when he's staring at me while eating, because his little cheeks are moving at a hundred miles an hour to chew his hay, but his eyes are all still and intense.

Monkey glares at me frequently. She follows me with her big brown eyes as I walk around the apartment... she's planning something...

Markbun, has Maryanne gotten any calls from Monkey lately? O.o

Zeus's stare isn't a glare.. it's just a very intense "I'M KEEPING MY EYES ON YOU!" look.

When they're facing you dead on they probably aren't really looking at you. They dont see directly in front of themselves. When they side on from you they probably are keeping an eye on you. tehehe. Then they can just zone out or sleep with eyes open. It's all just to keep us wary and at the ready iin case they should want for something.

I don't know what else to say but that is so funny and cute. Dexter just stares at me when he wants his breakfast/dinner and his snackie. Otherwise he is doing his own thing.

Eddie stares at me all the time. And he has different stares too. His regular one where he simply wants something. And then his treat stare where his eyes seems to be a bit bigger. I also think most of the time, he's really just sleeping though.

When I just had Eddie, we used to eat together. Seriously. I noticed one day that he'd come out and start eating when I was eating my supper. When I was done, he was done. I tested this for a couple of days just to make sure it wasn't a coincidence and it wasn't. Now he has Lolli, so he doesn't care anymore. loll

MJ both stares and glares. He stares at me in the mornings from the very top of his cage and tries to burn holes in my face until I feed him. And the he glares at me because.. well.. I just deserve it.
