Ok I know Pacey has only been alone for a few weeks but I felt it was time for the big bunny dates again. I couldn’t stand the mopey Pacey at home and he acted like the Pacey I know around all the other bunnies at the shelter.
He gets along with most of the bunnies at the shelter except for a few that want to tear into him as soon as they smell him.
Most of his “friends” have been adopted and a new group has came through.
Including one who has no name and was deemed Bunny #0638 a lionhead / lop mix (don’t know what kind of lop drop off papers didn’t say). He has been there for about 2 weeks and was 12 weeks when dropped off. And this is one that the shelter actually paid to have neutered due to his incredible ability to spray across the room lol.
But before the neuter I let him and Pacey play in the play area for awhile and they hit it off right away. No nipping or mounting just lots of cuddling and tossing of toys between them. Then both ate lots of hay and dug in the diggy boxes for awhile before passing out the rest of the day. They did this everyday for a week until the neuter appointment.
I had no intention to adopt him but started noticing how much Pacey perked up when I brought him to the play area. Even with other bunnies around he would go straight to him.
Sweet as a button and loves to just sit in your lap and cuddle. But he is an expert escape artist and somehow escaped the vets locked kennel 10 minutes after waking up from his neuter lol.
He is currently resting in his own little pen. He weighs a little under 2 lbs and is TINY I mean I am used to compact little Pacey but he makes Pacey look HUGE.
I am keeping them separate for the time being to let him adjust, heal and in case he has a hormone surge.
I don’t have a clue what to name him but he reminds me of an old man the way his ears bounce up and down when he hops. He has really really blue eyes as well it is intense. So I am attempting to think of old man names. So far I have came up with Walter and Oliver.
If you have name suggestions feel free to post them even if they aren’t old man names lol.
Yeah I know it was sudden and fast after Marshmallow and moving but it just happened and well me and Pacey lubs him
And here are the mandatory pictures first one is right before his neuter he was horrified. Next is a few hours ago after his neuter falling asleep on the couch. I literally had no intention at all of bringing him home but when he came back to the shelter after the neuter I found myself filling out paperwork and scooping his carrier up.
