Out here in New Brunswick, it's been very hot and muggy these last few days, too hot in my opinion. I'm not a heat loving gal. I much prefer Fall to Summer.
Just wondering how hot is hot where you live? It was 33 C the other day which is about 91 F for all you American Binkers. I'm sure all you southerners think we're big woosies here in NB but to us that's HOT! Last summer we had a guy from South Dakota working at our stable and he was laughing at us that we we're all dying of heat and not willing to work our horses in 30C weather. The forecast is high 30s for the rest of the week.
I've had the a/c on a lot so the bunnies don't overheat but despite my efforts it still gets pretty hot in the rabbit room since the a/c is in the living room. We have a fan to try to blow the air towards the rabbit room. I assume southern house bunnies are more tolerant to heat.
I only enjoy this heat when I'm in the pool at Mom's place. Then it's okay! I hate worrying about hot bunnies and not being able to exercise my horse or go for a walk. It's too hot to camp or do anything fun. |

Until the cold front (90 degrees) blew through we were in the high 90's with heat indexes over 100 last week, and muggy to boot, yeck. The first year I had bunnies I bought a small window ac for their room to help keep it cooler than the rest of the house. |

Today is the coolest day we've had in over a month! It's a lovely 85 F. Haha! That's only because it's raining all week. So the humidity makes it feel pretty gross, but still! The cooler temps are nice. But it will be short-lived. Next week will be back around 95 F. These are the highs the Weather Channel gives, but local thermometers routinely read temperatures into the 100s.. so I'm not sure what's up with that. From the sounds of it, it's hot everywhere! Makes me feel better. I guess the main difference between the south and other places is not that it's hotter down here, but that we just stay hotter for a longer time. It doesn't cool off until later October (and even then, it only drops to the 80s.) |

The fourth reached 103F. I had plans to go kayaking out on the Potomac to watch the DC fireworks, which were very quickly scrapped for more sane plans. |

HOT. HOT. HOT. We had 2 cookouts, one Sunday, one Monday. And it was just barely manageable to be outside. Fortunately, Monday we were at a house with a pool, so we spent most of the day turning into prunes and getting some sun. |

it's pretty steamy over here in ontario! thank goodness i have my little a/c window unit now so the fuzzies don't swelter! and apparently i'm gettin too old to sleep when we have muggy heat waves like this. today it's 39 and tomorrow it's supposed to reach 42 (that's about 100F - 106F)! |

It's about time, though i'd like it to have come gradually so we could get used to it. Oh well, I'm just happy to see some SUNSHINE |

Today will be 93. It is 81 right now. Yuck. I'm upstairs in my room, and whenever I'm not in front of my fan, I am warm. Downstairs is where bunny is, and it is VERY cool. |

lol...Now that could be a question with more than one answer.... ^_^ I just call this "melt my brain so it trickles out my ears" weather...we're STOKIN'. We've had several days of temps reaching almost 80 and here that may as well be 105+. It's miserable for everyone concerned. Even full-of-energy-all-the-time Jenna is like a limp rag doll. >.< Going through lots of freezie bottles, that's all I know. I don't think we've had a working thermometer for 5 years. But I splurged and bought a huge tower fan for the main house today, so hopefully the air moving through instead of just sitting will help keep things bearable. |

Hmm I am not hot . Nope not me. It is 75% where I am at. Very comfy
Now I go outside and the humidity is so thick you could serve it for breakfast. Na the humidity really isn't bad right now. It is in the upper 80's lower 90's. thats hot
When the humidity is bad whew. There is no rain forecasted so isn't too humid. |

Went to Phoenix, AZ over the weekend. Top temp there was 117 F - the breeze was hotter than still air in the sun. |

I'm not even sure what the temp is like today before I've been "climate-controlled" all day! LOL! I feel so bad for the people who don't have A/C... it's so hot and muggy this summer! |
