I finally got the house and the bunny room cleaned today!

Here are some pictures of Arduina and Leo’s new abode (free range in this room, and they’ll get the rest of the house when we’re home):

I was told by the vet to have a variety of surfaces for Arduina’s sore hock feet.. and I found a nice squishy comforter at the thrift store, let’s hope it holds up.

Awesome! I wish I had an extra room in my house for my buns.

They are so cute!!! How big are they, they look huge?

            A very nice room set-up!

Looks like a fun room! Lucky bunnies.
I had to take a couple extra looks at your bunnies, as your Agouti looks like my Specner and he had a sister named Sara that is a twin to your rex! I have pictures of them since they were 6 weeks old.

Looks so nice!@ I too am jealous for having a whole room for them – this fall when we move they’ll be getting the living room to themselves as I have no TV or sofas, so everyone should keep these nice playspace photos coming!

Heheh, thanks! Yeah, so this room is (or was!) my office and S.O. gets the basement for his office (set up next to the furnace and hotwater heater, hah).

btw, they love the comforter! I caught Arduina crawling around under it yesterday!

Beka, they are both about 6lbs.

I’ve noticed that bunnies like two entrances/exits (makes sense instinctively), so Arduina and Leo are really liking their new cage set up with the ramp/2nd exit. Before they would try to dig in there (in hopes of making a new ‘door’) and tear up whatever the flooring/blanky was.

When we first introduced Arduina to the wooden house we made, she didn’t want to go inside until we had turned it on its side (the upper back panel is missing) so that it had two doors.

it’s true, they want that extra escape exit just in case
