I cropped the photos not to show Abby (4 yr) and Gavin (5 yr) meeting the buns for the first time this weekend. Lola was in the living room greeting (frisking for food) but the other three came right out when they quietly sat down. Even dutchboy Daisy.

It went well all weekend, after the first hour of squealing everytime they saw them, it became very hohum to see them about the house. Pringles and Lola were very interested in what was going on, Daisy and Toby stayed in the room, mostly behind the tubs, but they weren’t frightened at all.

Sarita, check Lola out below, all the exercise is really slimming her down a bit. I wish I had taken a photo of her lurking around the wood stove so she could beg from the table. I’m watching her close to make sure she doesn’t have a tummy ache from eveything she snitched.

Last night Michael and I wrangled Lola back into the room, counted heads and closed the doors. Someone got up during the night to find the bathroom and left them open so there were bunnies everywhere when we got up. I woke up with Lola in bed with me, Pringles was in the livingroom checking out Gavin in the sleeping bag and the other two were in the kitchen but everyone was fine.

They’ve gone home so everyone’s sleeping now and I can let Charlie out for some exercise. I love the bunny room and there’s been no Lola fur flying for 3 days now!

        How was everyone elses holiday?

Great photos and fun weekend for you! Thanks for sharing. Lola is looking good – I’m glad she is slimming down.

I’m glad your quartet is working out so well too.

I did not really think about it before- but your bunnies are certainly following the black and white color scheme aren’t they???  I wonder if you carpet your house in black and white carpet if during a major shed it would not look like a bunny exploded on your carpet.  LOL.  Yeah, I know Murphys Law dictates the white hair would be on the black carpet and the black hair on the white carpet.

Very cute pics- it looks as though your bunnies are “allowing” your grandkids to sit quietly and watch them- otherwise they would disapprove and the grandkids would need to be immediately banished from their royal presence.

Yes, it kinda does look like a black/white theme. and really when Michael wanted a rabbit, I always thought of the agouti (my favorite) and Hershey did turn out to be my sweetheart.

For the first meeting I had the kids sit quietly with no treats to see what would happen and they all came out immediately to check them out. I was really surprised at how well it went. After that, bunnies and kids mingled all around the house.
