How adorable is she? I’m in love with her coloring and just look at how big her eyes are! Goodness, she’s absolutely precious. Only two months old, apparently. What to do, what to do… I would love to have her, but I don’t want to be rash and irresponsible about this.

How much more work would you guys say is having two buns than one?

Its quite a bit more work if you can’t bond them right away. They’d have separate areas to clean and separate playtimes such. And if she’s only 2 months old.. you’d have 4ish months til you could bond, after she is spayed. If money is tight, as it is for many of us at this time, if you were to get her, start saving for her spay now so you don’t have to worry about the finds later.

If you have the space, have the time, have the patience to wait… go for it.

Ooh, what a cutie Looks just like your Edmund bun
If you can afford it and can take the time to bond the two, great.

Thanks, you guys. I really appreciate your honesty.

Monkeybun, you brought up a lot of really good points. I think I’ll wait until at least September to get another one. (I have an important exam coming up at the end of this month and I’ll be out of the country in August.)

                She’s so precious though… Aargh.

                I’ll keep you guys posted…

She is precious!!!! I can see why you’re so tempted. But like the others said, it might be better you wait.

I don’t think two buns are more *work* than one… but my pair bonded right away (“right away” meaning 3 weeks of one-hour-a-day bonding sessions.) And both were spay/neutered already when we started. Two buns are more expensive tho; double food, litter and vet costs do add up.
