can any one help i bought a giant rabbit off a surpose breeder and when i got it home it dose not look old enough to leave its mom it was ok yesturday and to day it int eaten or drinking anythink and its got yellow discarge coming from back area i phoned vets but cant get him in till later

If you can ring around, find another vet that sees rabbits and tell them it's urgent. Or take the rabbit into an emergency vet. You have to move quickly on this sort of thing in baby rabbits. It likely is from it being weaned too young. You might want to ring the breeder also. I hope you can get the baby seen soon!

It looks like the breeder you got him from doesn't care and isn't interested in doing the right thing and I'm not sure I would take him to back to such an unfit breeder in the first place.  I'm not sure why he said "That is sad" when the breeder himself shouldn't have weaned him this early, as you know.  That really is just terrible.

Did the vet give you any suggestions as far as feeding?
