Hey there folks... this will be Little Miracles Rabbit Rescue's  third Christmas in July party - we always do an open house and such, but we're looking for some fun ideas and hoping to have lots of Florida folks come join us this year. We really want to make this party a happenin' event, since our building is SO much better than it's ever been in the past, and we can't WAIT to show it off!

The new a/c is kickin' and the new epoxy floor makes it SUPER easy to keep the floors clean and pee-free!

Anyways... we know that rescues all across the us are holding events all year long - so what kind of things do you do, or have you seen at these events that you liked, and worked well?

I know that with other rescue events I've been to---- I've seen auctions, as well as artwork -- whether be photography, drawing, crafts, jewelry, volunteers would show off their special talents and/or even sell their work. (proceeds going to the rescue)

I've seen at several parties, they would do themes like "spa paws" where the party would include brushing and trimming nails on bunnies. It's gets all the bunnies groomed while people gab and blab. You already have a fun theme--- Christmas in July, so instead of doing a "White Elephant....errr Bunny??" gift exchange. You could make it a silly or sophisticated party as I have seen both and I enjoyed both. Music, wine, auction, stuff for sell, good food. Just a good time.
