Wickett, aka WickyPom has been considering himself very sly lately – considering he does look like a fox. A sly fox. He met Bun last year and she charged him with no mercy and he begged for me to pick him up. Other than that he has been told to stay out of my room – and he obeys for the most part. He shows no sign of agression to my bunnies, he is curious to what the heck is in my room and why he can’t sleep in my bed anymore and why oh why isn’t he allowed to get into their litter box for doggy treats! *barf* I always shut my door if I am going upstairs or leaving – but when I sit in here I use that grid gate so I can get sunlight and get more air in here. Well…Mr. Wicky Pom has been oooooooozing his way into my room. I don’t even hear him push open the grid, and I find him and Bun nose to nose and I GASP and he wags his little puff tail like OPPPSIE I AM IN HERE !!! Don’t kick me out!!! Late at night if he doesn’t want to sleep he wants to be in here and spend time with me, he cries when I make him sit in my door frame. It’s highly annoying …he is SUCH A BABY. Anyways, I caught him in the act of oozing into my room. He stayed under my desk for awhile with Bee and Indy binking all over and he was just content to be in the room with me. I still don’t trust him – I can tell he knows they are something he needs to leave alone, but he’s a little dog that loves to eat mice…and Leia our rat terrier…she’s never going to meet a bunny.

Here is a better photo of him. We were outside washing the car and of course he HAD to be there too. Poms are very needy little dogs!

They are very cute – which is why I was drawn to that breed but I really didn’t know how attached to 1 person and barky they really are. It’s okay we love him to death anyways. I just think it’s funny how he can “teleport” around my room and be so sneaky about it because he is SO smart. He knows dozens of tricks and is just a really smart dog and he KNOWS he isn’t allowed in my room and he wants to be here so bad and just doesn’t understand why he can’t be with the bunnies. The look in his face is heart breaking when I shove him out of my room! I secretly want a bunny to charge him again so he will be too scared to want to come back in here lol.

I bet Wickett is a master at pulling a sooky face.

Sooky face?? xD lololz….And yet again, Jerz surprises me with more cool Ozzie slang! ^_^

OMG…Lin he is BEAUTIFUL! (And I am not a little dog fan, as you have all heard me say time and time again…) Don’t let my daughter see him…you will find him gone missing one day…. 0_o

This need to be everywhere you are…must be a little dog thing. Jenna has a conniption if she doesn’t have me in her sights 24/7. She is under my covers all night and sticks to me like glue all day. I can’t get anything done! 0_o Son and I were out doing laundry yesterday for just a few hours…left her with daughter since laundromat is off limits to pets….when I come home, she didn’t see me duck into my room and went charging through the house, back and forth, looking for me. When she realized I was in the bedroom, she launches onto the bed and starts dancing on her hind legs and digging at me, nipping at my fingers and rolling her eyes…I swear I couldn’t breathe for how hard I was laughing!

My son calls her “Pup-achu” and her little galloping bursts of speed through the house are her “Volt Tackle”…usually because she almost knocks you down with her enthusiasm.

Oh…and pardon the double post, but I meant to add that so far, Jenna has shown only mild interest in the bunnies, but her territorial aggression so far is only towards Tooey, my black cat. (It’s Tooey’s fault, she gets way too close to the dog’s crate when she’s eating and Jenna doesn’t trust her…plus they are fighting for position on my lap all the time.) Still, I know how you feel…don’t want her EVER getting curious enough about the bunnies that one of them gets hurt. Not worth the risk!

Hehehe. I think sometimes us petowners help cause the needyness of the small dogs since they are so small and we can take them pretty much anywhere. I think that is Wicketts problem. Because he is small and cute we let him do whatever and bendover backwards for him so he does have a fit when we do something without him. He was also very hard to potty train, tiny puddles, tiny poos – you catch them too late because you don’t see them or ..smell them right away lol. Like if I didn’t take him outside to wash the car with me, he would freak out in the window watching me and wouldn’t stop barking. He has super bad separation anxiety if he can see you and isn’t with you.
