  Our air conditioner DIED yesterday in the Florida heat. ♥ ♥ The prez turned over her entire $1300 paycheck. We’ve raised $933. We’re $367 from our goal, and we need to order that a/c TODAY!

  It’s wicked toasty in Florida this time of year, and we’re doing the best we can to evacuate the bunnies and get the a/c guy in here with the brand new unit, but we still have a bit left to raise! You guys are the BEST!!!
  
  Also: We want to thank Heather Whitaker who has helped us such a great deal, both in providing amazing chewie bunny toys for our foster babies, but also for donating towards helping us buy our new a/c !!

  We’re so lucky though, because we have a lot of really wonderful people who love us and care about us, and have donated over $960 towards the $1300 we need to have the bunnies get a new a/c installed ASAP.
  
  We are so blessed to have a friend who’s donating his time to do the install of the new unit, and four ceiling drops all on his own time and buying all the supplies. The only thing we’re paying for is the actual A/C unit – 3 tons, to keep it plenty cool. It’s even going to have a 10 year warranty, which is a crazy good investment for these furry faces!!

  Oh, it’s not a room – it’s its whole on bunny building, complete with two fridges (for veggies of course) and soon to be a new wash sink. 🙂 There’s approximately 60 bunnies on hand at any given time, and right now we have a few guinea pigs, a few hampsters… our rats just got adopted today, as did Fuzz, a bun who’s been here since October of 09. 🙂
  
  Also – guess what! We raised $1280 already towards the new a/c unit – in just twenty hours. Bunny people are THE BEST.

  The great news is, they ordered our new a/c today and it gets installed tomorrow.
  
  We raised $1435 online in less than 48 hours, and we’re SO grateful to all of you who helped out. Our president posted a video (actually, a few videos) as the project continues:
